Welcome To My Web Site

Land Rover Lightweights

Web site Under Construction!

Just Learning about creating a website and so this website WILL be changing as I learn to do more!

I currently own two Lightweights pictured in the photo above, the Yellow Beastie with lots of modification from original spec and the original one which I hope to be restoring back to its former glory in the near future.

The camouflage one or 50HG50 is a 1980 12 volt GS model which I am awaiting some history from the Ex-Military Land Rover Association.

The Yellow Beastie I bought recently and is a 1976 model which has already had lots of work done which I shall list at a later date.

I am attempting to build this website to share the experience of the rebuild and also to assist laymen like me in the future wishing to restore a Land Rover Lightweight.

I know that there are already lots of pages on the net about restoring them but most seem to be from people with some sort of mechanical background, I will post a little about myself later but I can tell you I am no mechanic Just Mad about Lightweights and Land Rovers in general.
